Vertoe is a mission to optimize the world's spaces. We offer short term to long term luggage storage solutions by helping people find a Vertoe Location that meets their needs. This way tourists, travelers or just anyone who is looking to walk around the city can do so without the hassle of carrying luggage, bags, etc. Watch our short 'How it Works' video to learn more.

Vertoe provides a convenient and affordable solution by helping tourists and travelers store their luggage at a nearby location for a few hours (or days) while they enjoy the city hassle free. Vertoe provides transparent payment options, information about locations including reviews/ratings and a Vertoe Guarantee of $1000 on your stored items to give you complete peace of mind.

Vertoe Locations are verified locations provided by our partners with extra storage space that can be used for short term and long term storage. Each Vertoe Location is thoroughly checked to ensure ease of access, safety, and security before being listed on the site. We take customer feedback seriously and dismiss locations that do not meet standards. If interested in being a Vertoe Partner Location, just write to us at partners@vertoe.com (please give details like address, size of storage space, access, hours of operation, etc.) and our team will get back to you soon.

To make a booking, visit vertoe.com, select the locality around which you want to store your bags, and enter bookings dates. From the list of options, pick the location that is most convenient for you. Complete the booking by entering payment details. Watch our short (30 sec.) ‘How it works’ video to learn more.

Please note that even though we accept payment by cash at Vertoe Locations, walk-ins without an online booking will not be accepted. If you don’t make a booking online first, your booking is not a Vertoe booking and you will not be eligible for any of Vertoe’s services (including the $1000 Vertoe Guarantee for your stored items).

We understand that as travelers, sometimes, walking into a store and paying by cash is desired. While we do accept ‘cash at the store’ as a payment option, it is mandatory to book online first before visiting a Vertoe Location. Our site is mobile friendly and signing up is very easy (integrated with Facebook, Google or LinkedIn), so you can make a booking literally, while standing at the location. If you don’t make a booking on the site and drop your items, please do note that it will not be considered a Vertoe booking and you will not be eligible for any Vertoe services (including the $1000 Vertoe Guarantee on your stored items).

Although price per bag per day may change based on the Vertoe Partner Location, on an average, it will range from $5-$8 per bag per day. If you’re looking to book for a longer duration or want to store more bags, we do offer discounted rates. We accept all major credit and debit cards for payment along with the option to pay by cash at the Vertoe Location. Please note that in most situations, paying by cash may result in additional surcharge over the booking price.

Also, do remember that it is critical that you book online even if you select the pay by cash option. Any bookings not made online will not be considered a Vertoe booking and will not be eligible for any of Vertoe’s services (including the $1000 Vertoe Guarantee).

We do understand that it is a new concept and you may need some assurance. Vertoe's Partner Locations are thoroughly checked and verified before they are listed on the site. Reading reviews and ratings will give you a good idea about the experience of other customers at a particular Vertoe Location and to give you that extra peace of mind, Vertoe gives you a Vertoe Guarantee of $1000 per booking to cover for any damages, loss of property, etc. Please read our Terms and Conditions for more on the Vertoe Guarantee.

Vertoe Guarantee is our program to give customers up to $1000 per booking to cover for any damage to your stored items. This is extra protection we offer our customers to make sure they have peace of mind after dropping their luggage at the verified Vertoe Location. For more details on Vertoe Guarantee, please read our Terms and Conditions.

Although this is not a formal insurance program, Vertoe gives you a Vertoe Guarantee of $1000 per booking for your stored items, so you have complete peace of mind while you walk around the city.

You can store most items as long as they are safe and legal. They must also be accepted by the partner at our verified Vertoe Location. You cannot store any of the following prohibited items, doing so will invalidate any potential Vertoe Guarantee claims:

  • Drugs including medical/pharmaceutical supplies and equipment
  • Combustible, flammable, hazardous or toxic materials
  • "Inherently dangerous" materials, including gasoline, compressed gas, propane tanks, kerosene, lamp and motor oil, acid, grease, corrosives, fertilizer, paint, cleaners, chemicals, narcotics, or hazardous, toxic or biological waste; asbestos or products containing asbestos, fireworks, explosives, weapons or ammunition
  • Perishable food and animal products
  • Radioactive equipment or anything that contains radioactive materials
  • Miscellaneous prohibited items such as animals and plants

In addition, Vertoe would NOT recommend you store any of the following:

  • Jewellery and high value items
  • Money
  • Irreplaceable legal documents
  • High value, antiques or collectables
  • Very fragile items

Please note that our partners at Vertoe Locations have an authority to check your baggage in case he/she suspects you of carrying any illegal items. In some cases, the partner may ask you to show the items in your bag and if they are not satisfied, they may completely refuse you service. We will refund up to 50% of your booking fee in such cases.

As soon as you make a booking, you will get a confirmation email and SMS. Post which, you can directly visit the Vertoe Location to store your luggage. The partner at the Vertoe Location will give you a token in receipt of your bags. Just return this token to collect your items.

It is mandatory that you carry your photo ID proof to the Vertoe Location since the partner may request for it. The partner also has the authority to check your bags in case they suspect of you carrying any illegal items.

You can store as many items as you want as per mentioned in your booking. In the event there is no space at Vertoe Location to store all your items, Vertoe will reimburse you in full for the items that could not be stored.

You can access your stored items based on the hours of operation of the verified Vertoe Location. Most Vertoe Locations are open from 10 AM to 8 PM. Please check the hours of operation of your Vertoe Location before booking.

You can store your bags from a few hours to as long as you want. In case items are not picked up after the booking end date and the booking is not extended via Vertoe site, the Vertoe Partner may decide to remove your items as per our Terms and Conditions.

We understand that such situations may arise but we also want to ensure safety and security of stored items. In such cases, please send us a note at support@vertoe.com and also, to the email address of the Vertoe Partner (mentioned in your booking confirmation page) giving written permission to your authorized representative to pick or drop your items. We will need personally identifiable information in this note about your authorized representative like name, gender and age that our partner will cross check via their photo ID before allowing them to do so. In case the partner is not convinced, they may either call your phone for further verification or refuse such pick/drop at their discretion.

Any booking can be canceled a day before the start date to get a full refund. So, if the start date is Jan 10th, then any cancellation made on Jan 9th (as per the timezone of the Vertoe Location) is fully refunded. To cancel, sign in to Vertoe and go to your Profile Dashboard > Your Trips to view upcoming bookings and click on ‘Cancel’.

Please note that same day bookings are not eligible for a cancellation via the website. However, for larger bookings (more than $50), we may issue a partial refund. Please write to support@vertoe.com in this case. Also, kindly note that if your booking is not honored after visiting the Vertoe Location for no fault of your own (for example, storage space is already full or the location was closed due to unforeseen circumstances), we will refund the payment for all the bags that were not stored even for same day bookings.

We understand that as travelers, at times, paying by cash is preferred. We let you book online and pay by cash when you drop off the luggage at the Vertoe Location. However, do remember that it is critical that you book online. Any bookings not made online will not be considered a Vertoe booking and will not be eligible for Vertoe’s services (including the $1000 Vertoe Guarantee).
